Suggestibility testing has two main purposes: first, it allows the client to witness hypnotic phenomenon caused by the mind body connection, without being in a deep trance state. Second & most importantly, these tests are used as indicators to the hypnotist as to a clients mindset; analytical or non-analytical. Determination of the clients mindset allows the hypnotist to choose a proper method of hypnosis to be used for optimum results.
